Monoprint Magic with Mary McIntosh Saturday 24th May 2025 10am - 3.30pm
 
I am excited that Mary is coming again to MMD studio. She is a wonderful tutor, I should know as she taught me when I was doing my City and Guilds in Patchwork, Design and Craft. This delightful workshop encompasses nature with textiles and the results are delicate and beautiful. 
Morning - collecting leaves and monoprinting onto semi-transparent fabric. Colouring with paints and inks. Range of colourways. 
Afternoon - using our printed fabrics to stitch using the contemporary Pojagi piecing method
The outcome will be a unique double sided semi-transparent panel ideal to hang in a window or against a pale wall. The size can be adapted to fit your space. 
 
Mary will be supplying some materials for £15.00 payable on the day in addition to the cost of the workshop.
